ICO introduces privacy notice generator for small businesses

The Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) has launched a new tool to help smaller businesses create privacy notices that are tailored across various sectors of the economy.

The new privacy notice generator includes sections dedicated to finance, insurance, legal, retail, manufacturing, education, childcare, health and social care, charities and voluntary sectors. Furthermore, the tool offers two types of privacy notices: one for customer and supplier information, suitable for external use, and another for staff and volunteer information, intended for internal communication channels.
