ICO issues guidance on criminal offence data

The ICO has released guidance on the processing of criminal offence data. The guidance is intended for DPOs and individuals with specific data protection responsibilities in larger organisations that have "detailed questions" or seek "a deeper understanding of the rules" for this particular processing. The ICO recommends that professionals review its summary page for criminal offence data before reading the new guidance.
