The ICO has issued fines to four businesses for breaches of data protection law.
- Chameleon Marketing Ltd fined £100,000 for making 617,323 marketing calls promoting boiler replacement to TPS registered individuals.
- Rancom Security Limited fined £110,000 for making 851, 392 (565,344 were to TPS registered) marketing calls promoting the West Midlands security systems company.
- Repair & Assure Limited fined £180,000 for making 1,103,292 marketing calls promoting washing machine warranties.
- Solar Style Solutions Limited fined £90,000 for making 188,665 (126,019 were to TPS registered) marketing calls.
