ICO looks back on charity fundraising and data protection

In a blog post, the ICO reviews some of the key events that have taken place in the charity sector in relation to the data protection implications surrounding their fundraising activities. Since concerns were first raised about improper data sharing practices that led to the Fundraising Regulator being established in 2016 and the GDPR coming into effect, people are far more aware of what their personal data is being used for.
