ICO Monetary Penalty - DSG (Dixons) Retail fined £500k

The ICO has fined DSG Retail Limited (DSG) £500,000 after cyber-attack compromised a point of sale computer system affecting at least 14 million people. The attack led to malware being installed on 5,390 between July 2017 and April 2018, which was a breach of the Data Protection Act 1998.
