ICO opens AI/ML recommendation systems consultation

The Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) has opened a consultation to understand how teams developing artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) recommendation engines ensure users are protected against harm from advertising, inappropriate content and profiling. In particular, the ICO wants to look at specific measures protecting children and vulnerable communities. This consultation closes on 30 September.
