ICO outlines data collection improvements to children's financial services

The Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) has published the findings of a review of the financial services industry concerning how it collects and processes the personal data of children. The review, which looked at various financial products, including current accounts, savings accounts, trust accounts, ISAs and prepaid cards, found that the sector can do more. In publishing its findings, the ICO has provided recommendations for the industry to make improvements along with areas of good practice.
