ICO publishes guidance on political campaigning

The ICO has published new updated political campaigning guidance, taking into account changes in legislation, technology, and modern campaigning methods. The guidance concentrates on how political parties and other groups or individuals can use personal data in online campaigns, along with more traditional methods. The guidance includes practical examples that support transparency in a lawful digital democracy.
