ICO responds to DCMS AI rulebook consultation

The Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) has published its response to the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) public consultation: Establishing a pro-innovation approach to regulating AIThe ICO supports the pro-innovation approach put forward by DCMS to ensure the UK's legal framework for regulating the use of AI remains fit for purpose. It concludes AI regulations should be "context-specific, risk-based, coherent, proportionate and adaptable."
