Reed Online Limited fined £40,000

The ICO has fined Reed Online Limited £40,000 following seven (7) complaints made to the ICO's spam reporting facility. The complaints were made following an email that had accidentally been sent to every jobseeker on their database, including 6,250,966 recipients who had unsubscribed, breaching the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003.
