Microsoft Vice President for European Government Affairs Casper Klynge has said that the technology company wants Ireland to have a "bigger voice" in influencing European tech regulation. Klynge said Ireland's voice is "critical" in restoring balance around digital and tech issues now that the UK has left the EU. "Ireland is in a unique situation, not only because of the tech companies there but also because of its (trans-Atlantic) relationships," Klynge said. "I think Ireland has a critical role in getting regulation right."
