Less than half of UK businesses reporting data breaches in 72hrs

A recent survey of 500 UK business decision-makers by CrowdStrike identified only 42% of breached companies reported the incident to the ICO within 72 hours. "Many organisations are struggling to understand what a data breach even is, and how much time they have to report it." In further worrying news, 22% don't know whether the GDPR still applies to the UK following Brexit.
