One-third of employees susceptible to phishing attacks

The 2023 Phishing by Industry Benchmarking Report published by KnowBe4 at Infosecurity Europe 2023 revealed that around one-third of UK and Ireland employees are susceptible to phishing attacks. 

Meanwhile, speaking at the event, Charlie Sinclair, cyber security senior awareness and engagement manager at Unilever, and Tim Ward, CEO and co-founder at ThinkCyber explained that conventional security awareness fails to bring about lasting change to organisational culture. Organisations should instead incorporate lessons from human behaviour research.
