Irish DPC publishes 2018 to 2020 GDPR regulatory activities report

The Data Protection Commission in Ireland has published a report on the regulatory activities conducted under the GDPR between 25th May 2018, to 25th May 2020. The report breaks down the total number of cases received and the average response time. The majority of cases handled were subject access requests. The report also outlines decisions made by the DPC and a list of inquires against technology companies. Meanwhile, The Irish Times reports an official report on data protection reveals that the GDPR has been hard to implement.
