In an interview with Key4biz, European Data Protection Supervisor (EDPS) Wojciech Wiewiórowski said that he had a lot of doubts over the Artificial Intelligence Act (AI Act) but that he now feels the EU has the right approach to dealing with artificial intelligence (AI). Wiewiórowski added that the EDPS' supervisory role will be more as "a Market Surveillance Authority than as a Data Protection Authority."
