Massive NHS data breach affects tens of thousands of patients

Preston based consultancy company PSL Print Management is being investigated by the ICO following the breach of private NHS medical records belonging to tens of thousands of patients. Personal information included in the breached documents contains names, addresses and phone numbers along with test results and letters. The breach occurred after an employee submitted a subject access request for all the emails and texts relating to their employment. A memory stick containing the company's entire email server was sent instead.
