Microsoft publishes 2024 Digital Defense Report

In its 2024 Digital Defense Report, Microsoft highlights an increasingly dangerous and complex cyber threat landscape over the past year. Malicious actors are becoming not only better resourced but also more adept in employing sophisticated tactics that pose significant challenges to even the most skilled cybersecurity professionals. These actors engage in both targeted and opportunistic attacks, creating a universal threat to organisations, users, and devices anywhere and at any given time. To this end, Microsoft tracked more than 1,500 cyber threat groups and sent consumers 78 trillion security signals per day last year.
