Enforcing FOI starting to get serious

Following the certification last week of an offence of contempt for failure to comply with a Freedom of Information Act 2000 decision, Mischon de Reya has learned there may be more to come. 

In a decision by the Upper Tribunal regarding another potential certification of contempt, the judge commented that it is one of eight cases being considered by the First-tier Tribunal.
