Two days after moving into 10 Downing Street and two days before its second reading in Parliament, it was announced Liz Truss intended to axe Dominic Raab's Bill of Rights. Both The Guardian and BBC News reported on the announcement on the 7th, with sources explaining the Bill was a "complete mess" and is "unlikely to progress in its current form." This week, The Times reported plans to tear up much of Boris Johnson's legislative agenda in a four-day blitz with the Bill of Rights included in the list of Bills set to be delayed or dropped. According to Mischon de Reya, what comes next is unclear, and even though the Human Rights Act appears to have been given a temporary reprieve, they explain the changes included in the Bill of Rights are not expected to disappear.
