Mozilla & The Markup to investigate Facebook’s data collection practices

Mozilla and nonprofit group The Markup have announced a partnership on a project to examine how Facebook's tracking tools collect data on its users. The partnership will be conducted through Mozilla's data privacy sharing platform known as Rally. An invitation from Rally invited users to participate by browsing the internet to help Mozilla and The Markup learn how Facebook's pixel-powered advertising network tracks users online.
