NCSC developing certified Cyber Advisor programme

The National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) is looking at an initiative to extend its consulting services by developing a programme to certify cybersecurity advisors. If the idea moves past the proof of concept stage, individual consultants certified under the Cyber Advisor service can provide practical advice to businesses about five technical controls underpinning the Cyber Essentials initiative. The NCSC is now inviting individuals and organisations offering cyber security advice to register their interest in the scheme.
