NIST rebrands cybersecurity programme to reflect human factor

The US National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has renamed its Usable Cybersecurity program to Human-Centered Cybersecurity. The program was created in 2008 and has been rebranded to better represent its mission statement of "championing the human in cybersecurity." The program will continue to focus on usability, but it is just one aspect of the broader work that the program provides for the cybersecurity practitioner and IT professional communities.
