On Tuesday, 9 July 2024, Austrian privacy and digital rights group NOYB filed a complaint with the Italian data protection authority (Garante) against the Microsoft-owned adtech company Xandr for infringements of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) concerning transparency, the right of access and holding inaccurate information about users. As such, the complaint alleges that Xandr is in breach of Article 5(1)(c) and (d), Article 12(2), Article 15 and Article 17 of the GDPR.
