NOYB publishes 2021 annual report

The nonprofit group founded by Max Schrems, NOYB, has published its 2021 annual report. A blog article outlining the privacy campaigners' fourth-year achievements includes 400 half-automated complaints over deceptive cookie banners. The earlier 101 GDPR complaints began seeing decisions, such as the Austrian and French Data Protection Authorities (DPAs), concluding that the use of Google Analytics violates the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). NOYB also provided details on recruitment and thanked its supporters, members, sponsors and funders who enable them to continue to fight for the right to privacy.
