Ofcom publishes illegal harms' codes of practice under Online Safety Act

Ofcom, the UK communications regulator, has published the first codes of practice and guidance for addressing illegal harms, including terror, hate, fraud, child sexual abuse and assisting or encouraging suicide under the Online Safety Act 2023 (OSA)The codes set out more than 40 safety measures that digital platforms must introduce no later than 16 March 2025.
