Open Rights Group submits response to the Human Rights Act 1998 consultation

Open Rights Group has submitted a response to the Government's consultation to reform the Human Rights Act 1998. The ORG is worried that the proposals put forward by the Ministry of Justice "go against the long tradition the UK had in establishing and promoting human rights around the world." The ORG's response focuses on questions 5 and 23, which relate to freedom of expression and the right to privacy and data protection.
