Political campaigning is the real issue

Amidst the furore over the Cambridge Analytica investigation, and the subsequent report due to be presented to Parliament by the ICO, the more important issue is the investigation into how our three main political parties use personal data in their campaigning strategies. Meanwhile, The Guardian writes that more needs to be done to clamp down on how technology and analytics companies are allowed to influence our politics and culture.
