Pinsent Masons have published the third edition of its Insights from our Cyber team - Annual Report 2021. This year’s report provides insights into three main areas. The first looks at the changes in the sources of cyber attacks, including phishing emails, supply chain incidents and firewalls. The second area focuses on how ransomware now accounts for 31% of our cyber incidents this year. The final area looks at the growing risk to organisations from a rise of data subject claims. In a related piece, The Guardian also wrote about the increase in data subject claims following a breach.
