Ofcom opens NIS incident reporting thresholds consulation

Ahead of the European Parliament's approval of the NIS2 Directive earlier this month, Ofcom opened a public consultation into its proposed changes to strengthen Network and Information Systems (NIS) incident reporting thresholds for operators of essential services (OES) within the UK's digital infrastructure subsector. Ofcom is proposing its incident reporting thresholds are lowered "to better reflect our expectations of which incidents should be reported to us by OES."
