ICO and Ofcom to move under DSIT

Politico's Pro Morning Tech UK briefing reports that the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) and Ofcom will be moved to the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT). Both regulators will report to Julia Lopez, Minister of State for Data and Digital Infrastructure, who is also responsible for taking the Data Protection and Digital Information (No.2) Bill (DPDIB) through Parliament.
