Dutch DPA fines booking.com €475,000 for late data breach notification

Hotel and travel reservation site Booking.com has been fined €475,000 for failing to report a data breach within the 72-hour notification period, defined under Article of the EU GDPR. The fine was issued by the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
