French Data Protection Authority CNIL Release Draft Recommendations on How to Get Users’ Consent for Cookies

On January 14, 2020, the CNIL published a set of draft recommendations on the practical steps to take when seeking to obtain user consent to store and or read non-essential cookies and other similar technologies on their device(s).
