PI responds to the College of Policing's ethical data & tech consultations

Privacy International (PI) has submitted a response to the College of Policing's consultations on the ethical use of data and technologies

In its response, PI acknowledges efforts to develop a guide for the responsible procurement, deployment, and implementation of technology in compliance with existing laws. However, PI argues that current regulatory frameworks lack adequate safeguards, oversight, and accountability.
