Clearview AI plans to improve search capabilities of its 10 billion images

Clearview AI Chief Executive Officer Hoan Ton-That has revealed the company's ambitious plans. The facial recognition technology company aims to secure its first major US government contracts and expand its team by a third, despite facing legal and congressional challenges. With a focus on closing deals with federal agencies, Clearview AI is looking to transition many of its 3,100 customers from trial basis to larger purchases, potentially reaching seven or eight-figure deals. Additionally, the company plans to hire 18 new employees, including five engineers, and introduce new tools to improve the search capabilities of its ever-growing database of over 10 billion publicly posted photos.
