Google addressing age-sensitive ads

Google is to improve enforcement of the Age Appropriate Design Code after age-sensitive advertisements were identified that should have been blocked by the search engine. Google began using automated tools to block certain ads from being shown to users under 18, but Reuters said it found ads for adult toy retailers, cholesterol medication and more. Google said the ads had been mislabeled and “should have been restricted from serving,” adding the company is taking “immediate steps to address this issue.”
