Open letter from 30 groups asks EU Parliament to protect privacy rights

Amnesty International, Privacy International, the Open Rights Group and 27 other civil and human rights groups have urged the EU to protect privacy rights stand up against online tracking in an open letter to the European Parliament. The letter responds to what the group say are attempts by EU countries to weaken privacy rights through the proposed ePrivacy Regulation.
