EU no longer in talks with US on Enhanced Border Security Partnerships

Statewatch reveals that the proposed US Enhanced Border Security Partnerships would involve regular and continuous sharing of sensitive personal information between participating EU member states. However, the European Commission has noted that its working group with its US counterparts has ceased to operate and that negotiations are now happening between member states and the US on an individual basis. Where that leaves a potential EU-USA agreement remains unclear.
