Facebook takes legal action against two data scraping companies

Facebook has taken legal action in the U.S. against two companies engaged in an international “data scraping” operation across Facebook and Instagram along with Twitter, Amazon, LinkedIn and YouTube. The data gathered was being collected for marketing intelligence purposes but were in violation of Facebook’s Terms of Service.
