In 2013, Troy Hunt wanted to know if he had fallen victim to a data breach? Fast forward seven years and the service he set up 'Have I been pwned?' processes thousands of requests every day from users who check to see if their data has also been compromised. Sadly, the answer for most of us is almost certainly.
