NHS Scotland records 1,395 data breaches over 2-years

According to an analysis of Freedom of Information requests sent to every NHS board in Scotland, at least 1,395 data breaches were recorded over a two-year period. Of those incidents, 73 people have faced disciplinary action, and 4 people have been reported to Police Scotland. Not all boards disclosed figures, so the actual total could be much higher.
