Meta chief executive officer Mark Zuckerberg has confirmed that its Twitter rival is now available in the EU. Meta had sought approval from the European Commission before launching Threads in the region. At the time, the delay was speculated to be due to the Digital Markets Act.
In addition to the EU launch, Meta revealed plans to create more interoperability by allowing posts on Threads to appear on other social platforms.
