PwC survey reveals AI is major boost to productivity

Unrelated to safety but as an indication of the potential impact artificial intelligence (AI) will have on every aspect of our lives, a new report from PwC highlights that sectors with the most exposure to AI experience 4.8 times greater labour productivity growth. The report finds that such AI-driven spikes in productivity could be enough to break out of persistent low productivity growth, leading to economic development, higher wages, and better living standards.
