Invasive GPS surveillance causes migrants significant psychological harm

A new report published by a number of charities has called for an immediate end to invasive GPS tracking of migrants. The report Every Move You Make: The Human Cost of GPS Tagging in the Immigration System describes that the practice can cause psychological harm and affect the wearers' ability to function normally. One person interviewed said, "It's a torture, it's a torture. I don't even know how to put it into words. After all the detention and all that they say that's not enough, you know you have to be on a monitor for life. What for?"
