International Trade Secretary Anne-Marie Trevelyan and Nadine Dorries, Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, met with the US Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo for discussions on cross border data transfers, along with supply chains and tariffs. The aim is to create a regime that "promotes and advances interoperability between different data protection frameworks, facilitating cross-border data flows while maintaining high standards of data protection and trust."
