Freedom of Information appeals and investigations over transparency have seen a six-fold decline, according to the Scottish Information Commissioner. Daren Fitzhenry, Scotland’s Information Commissioner, said a “significantly higher than usual” due to Covid and other workload pressures has led to the delays.
