Advisers to former President Donald Trump are renewing their push for a pardon for Edward Snowden, the former NSA contractor who leaked classified information and has been living in Russia for over a decade to avoid prosecution. Although Trump considered a pardon in 2021, he opted to let the courts handle the matter. However, discussions among Trump's transition team indicate increased optimism for Snowden's clemency.
