According to a report in The Washington Post (£), US President-elect Donald Trump will try to prevent the potential US ban of short-form video social platform TikTok if it does not divest from its Chinese parent company ByteDance. Political consultant Kellyanne Conway, who ran Trump's first presidential campaign and served in the White House, said: "There are many ways to hold China to account".
