DCMS to launch National Data Strategy Forum

To further the UK Governments bid to make the UK "the world's number one data destination," the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport has announced it is to launch a National Data Strategy Forum. The new forum will focus its attention on helping the UK "make sure country harnesses the huge power of data" by "driving innovation and growth." The announcement comes on the same day that the ICO's new Data Sharing Code of Practice has been laid before Government.
