Department for Education opens information sharing consultation

The UK Department for Education has opened a public consultation about an update to its guidance concerning information-sharing advice for practitioners who provide safeguarding services to children, young people, parents and carers. The guidance outlines the responsibilities for effective information sharing, key responsibilities of professionals, and lawful bases for sharing personal information.
