The Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) and Dubai International Financial Centre Authority have released a joint statement committing to increased facilitation of personal data flows. The two sides called the new agreement "a robust data bridge" that will help realise "the benefits of the important role that the trustworthy use of data across borders play." The UK government and the DIFC indicated a shared understanding on "the importance of existing and future regulatory cooperation as a means of enhancing our objectives."
